- 1Check and clean mussels, discarding any that do not close when tapped on the counter. Chop garlic and shallots.
- 2Saute garlic and shallots in butter, medium heat. When Shallots are translucent, add wine and bring to a boil. Then add mussels.
- 3With the lid on the mussels will be done in 3 minutes. Stir in parsley garnish, then remove from heat. Discard any mussels that do not open. Serve immediatly.
